The purpose of technical supervision is to provide the customer with pre-outage planning and technical support during the execution of air preheater repair and upgrade projects.  The experience gained while assisting customers with literally thousands of outages, will assure the use of proper repair procedures and will result in minimizing both the duration of these projects and field labor man-hours required to complete them. The Air Preheater Company also provides technical assistance and support for the erection and start-up of all new Ljungström® Air Preheaters.  These services assure new air preheaters will be erected in accordance with the specifications and procedures developed by us.  Adherence to these specifications and procedures will assure that your Ljungström® Air Preheater will provide the thermal performance and service life it was designed for. Other benefits resulting from the use of technical supervision include effective coordination with other outage tasks and the assurance of achieving the maximum reliability and service life of the repaired or replaced parts.
